Gain experience while learning the PADI System of Diver Education
PADI Dive Master
Take the first step in your dive career and become a PADI Divemaster. You will be working closely with one of our PADI Instructor team and you'll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a dive professional. During your PADI Divemaster training you will develop your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors.
Once qualified you will be able to supervise some dive activities, work at local PADI dive centres and on dive boats, lead Certified divers on guided tours and teach and certify skin divers and PADI snorkelling programs.
You will need to be a certified PADI Rescue diver, have at least 20 logged dives by the time you start and 60 by the time you qualify.Be at least 18 years of age. Each PADI Dive Master Candidate will receive a Divemaster crewpack which includes a complete set of study materials such as The PADI Encyclopaedia of Recreational Diving, PADI Diving Knowledge Workbook, PADI Divemaster slates, PADI Divemaster Manual and a CD Rom with the PADI instructor outlines for Divemaster conducted programs.

PADI Assistant Instructor
The PADI Assistant Instructor is the first portion of the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). During the PADI AI course you will not only gain additional experience as a PADI Professional but you'll also start learning the PADI System of diver education. You will act as an instructional scuba assistant and assume limited teaching responsibilities. Its a great way to gain experience in order to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
Once qualified you will be in a position to teach the academic presentations under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor, evaluate Open Water students surface skills, again under the supervision of a PADI Instructor, teach the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Speciality, Project Aware Speciality, and discover scuba experiences. You will also build upon your abilities to organise and supervise scuba diving activities while concentrating on developing your teaching skills.
To enrol in this course you will need to be a fully qualified and current Divemaster for a minimum of six months, have 60 logged dives including night, deep and navigation dives and be at least 18 years of age.
