Trio Tech - HMS Victoria - Lebanon
Lebanon has many shipwrecks but none as famous as the HMS Victoria, which was the flagship of Queen Victoria's Mediterranean fleet. The wreck was discovered by Mark Ellyatt and Christian Francis and their team in 2004. The ship sank on the 22nd June 1893 and 358 of her crew including Admiral Tryon were lost to the sea. The ship stands vertical with the shallowest parts at 77 meters and the bow at more than 140 meters.
We are currently making arrangements for a trip to Lebanon to dive around the protected HMS Victoria. Further details of this trip will be provided shortly, but in the meantime, if you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
