Closed Circuit Rebreather
Using the Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) with latest technology you can maximise your gas supply and maintain an optimum breathing gas for any depth, The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures of rebreather diving and you will develop basic rebreather diving skills appropriate to diving within the normal recreations depth limits.
Level 1 - 30 Meters Non-Decompression Diver
Upon certification you will be able to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters using an air dilutent. To enrol on this course you must be 18 years of age, have 70 logged dives and be certified to a minimum of Nitrox Diver. The theory part of this course will cover the use, design and maintenance of the CCR Unit. During the course you must complete a minimum of 120 minutes training in confined water followed by 360 minutes over 6-10 dives with a graduated depth each day.
There are additional equipment requirements for this course and Trio Dive International insists that each diver has their own compete rebreather, and ascent reel with lift bag which is:
A - adequate for a maximum planned depth B - adequate to lift minimum of 12 kg

Course Cost £595
(Discount available if booked at the time of ordering unit at Mikes Waterfront)
Level 2 - 30 Meter Decompression Diver
This module is the next step up from module 1 course and is ideal for any diver who is already Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures qualified or is a Module 1 CCR diver wishing to start decompression diving.
Once you are qualified you will be able to dive to a depth of 45 meters as a planned decompression diver using a CCR Unit.
The theory part of this course will either fully cover or review (depending on what certification you hold at the beginning of the course) the set up and maintenance of the unit, loop volume management, calibration of electronics, emergency procedures and CNS tracking as well as decompression procedures and the equipment and hazards involved in this type of deeper diving.
To enrol on this course you must be at least 18, have 70 logged dives and be certified as an Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Diver, or Module 1 CCR Diver and have at least six months diving experience on the CCR Unit.
Trio Dive International insists that each diver participating on this course each have their own Rebreather Unit and ascent reel with lift bag.
Course Cost £595

Level 3 - Normoxic Trimix Diver
This course is your next step into CCR diving with the addition of helium as a diluent gas to allow you to safely explore that little bit deeper.
On this course you will learn the advantages and hazards of replacing a percentage of the nitrogen with helium to reduce your narcosis to an acceptable safer level and once fully qualified you will be able to dive to depths of up to 60 meters using normoxic (any O2 mix not below 16%) gas mixes.
The Mod 2 course covers use of stage cylinders for bailout, extended decompression, gas management and O2 physiology. You will need to complete two air dives and three trimix dives using a 20% O2 30%He mix all to a depth deeper than 39 meters one of which must be below 54 meters.
To book onto this course you must be Mod 1 Plus qualified with a minimum of 100 logged dives 20 of which must have been made on the CCR.
Course Cost £595

Level 4 - Advanced Trimix Diver
This is the ultimate qualification in CCR diving. It is designed for those already partaking in deep diving activities but wishing to dive up to 100 meters using trimix.
This course will teach you the full capabilities of a CCR Unit and once fully certified you will be able to dive up to 100 meters using a complete range of gas mixes including hypoxic mixes (i.e O2 mixes below 16%).
The courses covers theory on helium, physics and physiology of mixed gas diving, HPNS theory, mixed gas tables, bailouts and advanced gas management. You will complete two dives on air and four dives using trimix.
To book onto this course you must be a qualified Mod 2 CCR diver, or full trimix Open Circuit diver with a minimum of 200 logged dives, 50 of which on the CCR.
Course Cost £595
