Extended Range

This course will provide you with the training and experience required to completely utilize air for dives upto 55 meters that require staged decompression using nitrox mixes and oxygen.  The objective of this course is to train divers in the proper techniques, equipment and hazards of deep air diving.

To enrol on this course you must be at least 18 years of age and be a certified TDI Advanced Nitrox and TDI Decompression Diver.  You must also have a minimum of 100 logged dives, 25 of which must be deeper than 30 meters.

There are some additional equipment requirements for this course and Trio Dive International insist that each diver partaking in this course has:

1 - Bottom mix cylinder 

A Cylinder volume appropriate for planned dive and student gas consumption     B Dual outlet valve, double manifold or independent doubles                               C Labelled in accordance with TDI standards

2 - Travel Mix Cylinder(s) if used

A Cylinder volume appropriate for planned dive and student gas consumption    B Labelled in accordance with TDI Standards

3 - Decompression Mix Cylinder(s)

A Cylinder volume appropriate for planned dive and student gas consumption      B Labelled in accordance with TDI Standards
